Add sharing capabilities to iCal

Share iCal Calendars on your LAN
With BusySync it’s incredibly easy to share iCal calendars with family or coworkers on your LAN without the need for a dedicated server. BusySync is a Mac OS X System Preference Pane that runs in the background and adds calendar sharing capabilities to iCal. Shared calendars can be viewed and edited by multiple users, and changes are instantly published and synchronized with all users on the network. You can even make changes to shared calendars while offline and your changes will sync when you reconnect to the network.

Sync iCal with Google Calendar
In addition to syncing calendars on your LAN, BusySync syncs iCal with Google Calendar, allowing you to:

* View and edit calendars online — Calendar events can be viewed/edited in both iCal and Google Calendar and automatically synchronized between the two.
* Sync calendars between home and work — Users can sync their home and office computers with Google Calendar (as an alternative to syncing calendars with MobileMe).
* Share calendars remotely — Users in remote locations can share calendars with each other by syncing with Google Calendar, even while traveling.

Key Features
Bonjour networking — BusySync automatically synchronizes calendars with others on your local area network. No dedicated servers or complicated network settings to configure. It just works.

Google Calendar Synchronization — Sync iCal with Google Calendar for online read-write access to your calendars from any computer, anywhere.

Multi-user editing — BusySync allows multiple users to share and edit calendars with full read-write access. Changes made by one user are instantly synchronized with all others on the network.

Security — Calendars can be password protected to provide users with read-write or read-only access. SSL encryption keeps your data private when syncing on the LAN or with Google.

Offline access — Changes made to a calendar while disconnected from your home or office network are automatically synchronized when you reconnect to the network.
